October 12-13: A Warehouse Sale!

Fall is in the air and it's time once again for Landmark's exciting fall warehouse sale. Both of our warehouses are filled to the brim with treasures from around the world. Join us Friday and Saturday, October 12 and 13, from 9am to 2pm at 106 Mescalero NW, which is off Second St. NW between Candelaria and Griegos.

If you've wondered where we've been the last few weeks, we've been fishing for treasures for you! I have been in and out of many home that were simply to sparse, but the good news is that I have taken many fine items to the warehouse and you will have a chance to see them all at once this weekend. We have coded older items for price reductions: pink marks indicate a 25% reduction and blue marks indicate a 50% reduction. Plain tags are new items and are priced as marked.

Treasures include Native American pots, rugs, baskets and jewelry, including Inuit items and a turn of the century Eskimo photo album. There is fine furniture, china, Sterling and glass. Quilts, linens and fine textiles abound. Fine antiques include a fabulous Victorian bed, a Chippendale console table, cherry dressers, Portuguese sideboard, and much much more. The jewelry cases are stuffed.

August 9-11: It's Jazzfest on Gavilan in ALbuquerque!

Landmark is holding a fascinating sale this week at 451 Gavilan NW in Albuquerque. The owner is an avid collector of jazz collectibles and fine antiques. Please join us this Thursday, August 9 from 10 am to 4pm with $1 admission; Friday, August 10, 10 am to 4pm; and Saturday, August 11 from 9am to 3pm. Gavilan is the second left off Fourth Street just north of Montano. There is surely something for everyone in this artist and collectors home.

Jazz memorabilia include sculptures by Dan Meyers (he invented the Absolut Vodka man), signed posters, jazz tile tables, pinball machines and more. But this sale has depth, as he was married to locally famous artist Martha Slaymaker and there are several pieces of her work. Family items include fine antique furnishings from the family home back east, Lunt sterling, Royal Doulton China, Waterford and Baccarat crystal, Seth Thomas and New Haven vintage clocks, Lladro figurines, some mid century pieces and a wide array of interesting treasures. The home is 3945 square feet and packed to the rafters.

Landmark is holding a lovely estate sale this week at 111 Laguna SW in the Old Albuquerque Country Club neighborhood. Take Central Avenue to Laguna and turn south. The event will be held this Friday, June 22 from 9am til 4pm with $1 admission and Saturday, June 23, from 9am til 3pm. This elegant home is filled with fine furniture (Stickley, Hitchcock, Virginia House), fine antiques, exquisite sterling serving pieces and flatware, beaded bags, furs, Santo Domingo pots, patio furniture, electronics and good household contents.

Our recent excitement has been that Microsoft ate our email list, so we are asking you click the sign up button on the right sight of this screen and sign up again.
