Historical collection of Native American rugs, pots, baskets and art from estate of two premier collectors! Bertha was an anthropologist who collected, with Christina, the finest examples of early Native American items. Sale also includes extensive library, early Central American and Mexican textiles, early paintings from the Indian School. Early rugs in fine condition include: Third Phase Chief’s blanket, Wide Ruins, Twills, Teec Nos Pas. Early baskets: Pima, Jicarilla & Hopi. Early pots: Acoma, Zuni, Fannie Nampeyo & many others.
