Judy Settle Says:

Landmark is holding a very nice sale this week and we hope you can join us @ 6924 Avenida de la Costa, off Louisiana just north of Burlison (Click here to view map).

This nice home has many Asian accent and decor items as well as an outstanding collection of Native American rugs. You will find designer women's clothing from Dana Buchman, Eileen Fisher, Ellen Tracy, etc. in a wide range of sizes, and hundreds of pairs of shoes. There is an owl collection, fabrics, a great variety of small appliances, and tons of ordinary household contents. We have imported a new load from Santa Fe, which includes upholstered pieces, wall units, rugs, fabulous modern mirrors and interesting items of all kinds.

The sale will be held this Friday, 2/1, from 10am til 4pm with $1 admission, and Saturday, 2/2, from 9am til 3pm. Chips and salsa will be ready and we hope to see you there.

January 17-20: A fascinating Sale for Fascinating Times!

Judy Settle Says:

Greetings!

Happy New Year from all the staff at Landmark Estate Services!
We are excited to see you for the first time this year at a tremendous sale we have this week at 961 Alameda ROAD, in Albuquerque. Please note that Alameda Road is not Alameda Blvd. Take Alameda Blvd west of Fourth Street to Rio Grande North. Turn right and follow Landmark's red signs to Alameda ROAD. Turn right again and you'll see us on the left (click here to view map). We are taking extra care with the directions because they are tricky, and this sale is too good to miss. The sale will be held this Thursday, 1/17, 1pm to 4pm with $1 admission; Friday, 1/18, 10am to 4pm; and Saturday, 1/19, 9am to 3pm.

This lovely home and barn are filled to the rafters with the stuff of life: everything from everyday goods to fine treasures. The latter includes: fine furniture and antiques, fine art ( Ford Ruthling, Dan Bodelson, Pablita Velarde), vintage sterling, fine china, designer women's clothes, outstanding jewelry, collections of butter molds, cookie presses, vintage locks and more. There are mink coats, decorative items, and lots of ordinary household contents. Not only is this a full estate, we have also brought in truckloads from fine homes in Santa Fe. When the stock market goes down, the treasures come to market, and a great many of them are at this sale.

The cookies are baked and the chips and salsa are ready. In these days of being green, dear friends, you are the wisest of them all. Why go buy new things, shoddily made in China, which use up precious resources, when it's all right here for a fraction of the retail price? We've got enough right here in the United States to keep us fresh for a long time to come!

Fond regards,

Judy Settle and the Landmark Lads & Lassies
