Fresh to the market for the first time since 1931, Landmark presents the John Gaw Meem designed home of Amelia Hollenback, furnished as it was in 1931. Preserved by current owners, Dr. Edward and Mary Jean Cook, the home is filled with Spanish Revival and early pueblo furniture from 19th and early 20th century, many pieces featured in New Mexico Furniture 1600 to 1940. Outstanding NM tinwork as shown in New Mexico Tinwork 1840 – 1940, including Woodman and other major tinsmiths. Helen Cordero Naciemento, Maria, Rose and other outstanding pottery including pre-signature pieces. Religious art: bultos, early retablos, processional torches, etc. Fine art: Bakos, Naumer, Cassidy, etc. Early photographs: Ansel Adams, Curtis, etc. Fine household furnishings: sterling, early dishes from The Shed, original Clark gas stove, colcha embroidery and lifetimes of treasures.
